ASlovenian Architect. 1872 - 1957.

This was the first presentation of his work in Argentina. The Slovian arquitect Joze Plecnik became the central figure of the, up to now, little considered arquitectural movement that existed behind the facade of the theoretical dogma and the notorious creators of modernism, from Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe to Frank Lloyd Wright and Aklvar Aalto. Beginning in the 80's and reaching its peak in the 90's, the discovery of Plecnik's work was a real event for Europe and
even for the world. 3rd. to 31st.of January 2003

Exhibition of paintings by the artist Horacio Bollini
This exhibition offers aspects which are apparently a contradiction. On the one hand figuration and on the other abstraction.   In both cases old technical procedures have been used. The artist, who comes from La Plata, studied old art, restoration and old techniques in Holland and as a musician he specialized in the viola da gamba and the study of Baroque music, particularly 18th century in France.   He is the author of two books on the history of art and old painting techniques.

Exhibition "Intergration"
Watercolours by Barbara Drausal and
Sculpture by Eduardo Rapoport
Barbara Drausal studied painting in Mexico and Bariloche.  The first stage featured themes in acrylics that could be classified as "Superrealism", with scenes of suggestive environmental nooks.  The second stage,  "Dreams and games", features scenes related to dreams in
acrylics.  This is her fourth exhibition in Bariloche.

Eduardo Rapoport will exhibit sculpture in wood under the title "Trees and Woods", which reflects his profession of ecologist.   His work concerns a new species, product of his aesthetic vision.   The titles of his sculptures are just as important as their aesthetic value, for him, and almost always have a humerous touch.  He has exhibited in Caracas, Mexico, Buenos Aires and Bariloche.
