During thousands of years the textile cloth
and the mantle of soft leather have been the protection in which humanity has found its second skin up to the time of its primitive arquitecture.

The poncho, a rectangular woven mantle
with an opening in the middle to put the head through and which rests on the shoulders,
has an ample tradition in all America.
from simple attire to a nomad's home
roof, bed,pillow, dress and shroud.

As a bearer of signs its decorations transmit its group membership, its past, rank or devotion.
Elaborated with different wools, colourful or simple, thick or light, the poncho tells us of a way of life it tells us of the winds of the plains.
the cold of the mountains, of the distances travelled and of rest by the fireside.
