1852 31st of may, born in Buenos Aires. 
1875 Travels to Northern Patagonia, Rio Negro and Limay, Collon Cura and Caleu-fu.
1876 22nd. of January: Lake Nahuel Huapi. First white man to arrive from the Atlantic.
1877 15th. of February: Lake Argentino.  27th. of February: Lake San Martin (In map of the region) Lake Viedma.. 
1879 Discovers lake Juan M.Gutierrez.   Returns to lake Nahuel Huapi. 
1884/ 1905 Founder and Director of the Museum of La Plata..
1888 Expert in the Argentine-Chilean limits question.
1903 August: The law 4192 authorizing F.P. Moreno 25 leagues of fiscal land as recompense for his services, is approved.  November: Moreno donates 3 leagues to be destined as a National Public Park, origin of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. To Document
1903/ 1904 Vice President of the Education Council.   National Delegate for the Federal Capital.
1908 Founder of the Argentine Boy Scouts.  Founder of the 'Escuelas Patrias' schools and the 'Patronato de la Infancia' childrens home.
1919 Dies in Buenos Aires.
1944 His remains are moved to the Centinela Island.
